Claiming BA Miles

It may take up to 8 weeks for valid BA Miles to be added to your Executive Club account. However, in the unlikely event that your Avis car rental BA Miles are not allocated within that time period, please click on the MISSING BA MILES? tab on the navigation above to claim your BA Miles retrospectively.

Please note, retrospective claims may only be made up to 6 months after your Avis rental. Simply complete the online form and we will respond within 72 hours to update you on the status of your claim.

British Airways will reject BA Miles claims for Avis car rental if any of the following scenarios occur:
  • Invalid Surname - 37% of BA Miles rejections are due to Executive Club members quoting their surname incorrectly or not being the named driver on the Rental Agreement. Please ensure that you confirm the spelling of your surname when reserving or collecting your Avis car rental.
  • Inactive/Invalid Executive Club Number - The Executive Club card number has been inactivated or the number is invalid
  • Non-paid For Rentals - Complimentary Avis rentals will not be eligible for BA Miles
  • Non-Executive Club Membership - BA Miles claims for rentals taking place before commencement of BA Executive Club membership will not be successful.
  • Non-Qualifying Rental Rates - Rentals made using Avis contracted (corporate/government) rates/AWDs, chauffeur drive, or van rentals do not qualify for BA Miles. Travel industry staff rates including BA and Avis employee programmes, replacement/insurance rates, selected association programmes, and net rate programmes or rates offered by selected travel agents and tour operators do not qualify for BA Miles.
