What is the new Avis Eco Collection?
The Avis Eco Collection is a new group of vehicles with emissions lower than 120g/km.
Choose Avis ECO now and drive away in a brand new, stylish and fuel efficient VW Golf 1.6 TDI 90ps. The cars combined miles per gallon (MPG) is 62.8 and its CO2 emissions are sub 120, at 118g/km.

This is a ‘book and guarantee’ car group, and no other group offers the same characteristics. When you book from the Avis Eco Collection, you are guaranteed a diesel vehicle with CO2 emissions below 120g/km (The UK average is 175g/km*). As well as having low emissions, these vehicles are also incredibly fuel efficient, allowing you to save money on fuel. Good for you, good for the environment.
Avis Europe has been a CarbonNeutral® operation accredited company since 2002, but to celebrate the launch of the new collection, and as part of our efforts to try harder for the environment, Avis will offset the emissions for every Avis Eco car rental for the months of December 2009 and January 2010 and match pound-for-pound the total amount offset by all our customers in the UK across the entire fleet during the period.

The current models in the collection were chosen due to their low CO2 emissions and high fuel efficiency.
